We need to make sure that within the curriculum we teach:
Cyber responsibility: students need to respect school cybersecurity such as password rules and Internet filters. They may also need to learn how to protect them from identity thieves, online predators and cyberbullies.
Cyberethics: hacking into a computer system is just as wrong as breaking into a home.
Cyberbullying prevention: Students to understand they can get into just as much trouble for bullying someone online as they can for bullying them on the playground.

District changes to software review and purchasing.
It appears that the board R&R have been changed to place software review and purchasing under the authority of the curriculum committees, (it was formerly under the Tech committee). This doesn't stop the Tech committee from making recommendations but it does reduce our influence, ouch!
What role should Curriculum Mapping play in New Curriculum Design?
The district has access to the Atlas Rubicon software for writing, and tracking skills and content. Would it be useful to devise the new tech curriculum using this software?
